I was thinking would it be cheeky to buy £60 of clothes for my holiday and then get fuel BEFORE i take anything back.

You could buy £60 worth of stuff, get discount, take stuff back and you've saved 10p litre.

It would save me over £5 on a full tank - but full tank costs £70!

It's not cricket though is it!

Sainsburys near me in Denton, Manchester is already 2p a litre cheaper than the nearby retailers.

Supermarkets don't generally like you playing ball games in their stores - I wouldn't DREAM of playing cricket in Sainsbury!

Nice idea but when do I spend that much in store as a single? Wish there was a way of making it a bit fairer here for the singles etc. I know families feel the squeeze but so do we. Just a proportion would be so appreciated.

Do you get it only on groceries or on other departments too do you know? Also what happens if you have to return the item do you have to give the voucher back?? x

You don't need to return the voucher. The same applies with Nectar points. You don't lose the points you have collected for the item(s) you are returning. I have bought a computer game for a cousin and turned out he already had that game. Returned the game but still kept the 60 points that I got from buying it.

Shop with another singleton or a couple with no children.

tomorrow (wednesday) sainsury are giving you a 10p fuel coupon when you spend £60. much better than the 5p you get at tesco!
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

Good if you already shop in there but if you shop elsewhere then probably not worth it by the time you've took into account how much more expensive shopping in sainsburys is than other supermarkets. Unless of course you plan filling up a HGV...

Just my luck :( I did the monthly shop last Sunday after returning from holiday. Normally would have done it later this week but the cupboards were bare ( Eldest son left at home as he's just started a new job and obviously its hungry work:D)

I got a voucher for discount if spent £80 by 3 July 2010!!! I would get next month's monthly shop in but we 'aint got the storage space.
