Cheap veg seeds - Wilkinsons

Hi there
Went in the Pontefract branch of Wilkinsons last Tuesday and they had a rack of Johnsons seeds with 75% off. They had mainly veg and herb seeds but some flowers too. I bought a few and the date on the back of the packet was 2014 so would be handy for next year.
hope this helps someone.

    I saw these too, yesterday,
Also just a tip regarding the dates on seeds. I am lucky enough to regularly visit the millennium seed bank in west Sussex with my work and go behind the scenes in the vaults where they store the seeds.
I spoke to the man who runs the seed gathering operation who is pretty much the worlds leading expert on seeds.
I asked him about dates on seed packets and he said just ignore them. As long as you store the packs in a dry dark place like a cardboard box with a couple of those silica gel packs to take out any moisture, then the seeds should last at least 10 if not 20 years, so don't throw your old seeds away! You can also store them in the freezer.

They have successfully germinated 500 year old seeds quite easily.
