£250? no thanks...Im not making megabucks here

company accounts, is that invoices? a spreadsheet?

If you don't even know the above, pay someone to do your accounts before you find yourself in trouble with HMRC.

Think the fines and penalties are likely to a lot more than that if you do not do it properly. Limited companies are very closely watched by HMRC.

Do you know when your accounts are due to be filed at companies house? You will be fined £250 for being late so well worth paying an accountant.

You will need to file abbreviated accounts with companies house and a Ct600 with the inland revenue. What is your year end or when did you start trading. This will deem when your accounts are due with C House.
    Year 2019 (1,700/£17000mortgage repayment)Overall mortgage (71,400/165568) (44
    .1%) (42/100) payments made. Total paid 2019 year £1,700

    Total paid 2017 year £15,300Total paid 2018 year £13,600

And also don't forget the fines when you don't file your accounts with Companies House.

Why set up a Ltd company in the first place? There are loads of multi million pound firms which are not ltd companies?

The direct answer as many people here have said is employ an accountant.

A good accountant will save you money and will be worth their fee alone.

Remember that the accountant will be saving you tax - and submitting your accounts to Companies House etc.

There are lots of accountants out there who specialise in one man limiteds and will do all this for you for a monthly fee. They will also make sure you are filing with companies house on time etc.

Forgot to add you will usually get all the relevant business insurance as part of their service and they will help set up your business bank account. Again as part of the fee.
