B&J Baked alaska reduced in some Sainsburys

Picked up a tub of Ben and Jerry's baked alaska yesterday with a SALE reduced SEL in Sainsburys for £1.12. Last one.
Went to a different store today- and got their last one too but it was £2.25.
Might be store specific but worth a look if you're shopping there! This is probably my favourite flavour, not sure whether it's a packaging change or something as I wouldn't have thought they are phasing it out.

Maybe the store is gettig rid of that line or it could be repackaging0

Not all Sainsburys have the same things being discontinued, so its no point to raise this on a thread. Chances are that its the only store that are discontinuing the B&J line.
This week, I have bought percolator coffee, spag bol Oxo cubes and Lloyd Grossman sauce for 1. I know these is going against my challenge of emptying the store cupboards, but the 3 of them cost me £1.25
They normally discontinue the poor selling lines to make way for new lines.0 -
I wouldn't have posted if it had only been one store - as I mentioned in the thread, it was found in 2 separate stores hence why others may also have it reduced.0

I got the last 3 in my local Sainsbury's last week and then I went to another Sainsbury's and got the last 2 there. I do hope they're not going to discontinue it because it's my favourite.0

maybe sainsburys as a whole are discontinuing it, maybe you could email sainsburys customer service and ask0 -
Just popped back to say I found some for £1.12. Thanks again, have craving for whippy cones but feel to guilty to eat them while pg, having a little sample now and it's lovely.look after the pennies.....0
