    Hi beadgirl!

I can understand the volunteering thing as I have found myself in a similar situation, however its obviously best to do what you can with a PT job as well (and I know you are trying! ;) )

I can't help you get one of those, but we can help you with your SOA: feel free to post and we will see what we can do to reduce your outgoings.

    Best of luck! :D

rdchick - sorry about that. Its a tense situation, as I would love to have another job but don't, and I may have taken your picky comment a bit to close to heart. I hadn't considered altering my CV, that may be a good idea to do. I am with 1 agency but they don't seem very interested in me as I have to give 2 weeks notice, and I'm a bit dubious about quitting before I get another job. I might call them up and remind them i am still looking and i do have quite a bit of relevant admin experince.
Thanks everyone else, I'll look into a SoA, my costs seem nothing like anyone elses thought, alot lower, I don't want ppl thinking I'm moaning about nothing :s

Also I am dyslexic and not that great with numbers, I've always tried to keep things simple, 1 bank account, 1 credit card (which I don't understand the rates and %s of) 2 student loans.

Regarding your credit card. Phone your bank and ask them what the APR is on it.
*If it's 0% this is a good rate. Stick with that card.
*If it's 9% this is not a bad rate but try to get one with a lower percentage.
*If it's anything more than 9% you are being robbed and you really should get another card with a lower rate.
The lower the % the less you are paying in interest and the quicker your credit card debt will go away.

I completely understand what you are going through, I only had my lightbulb moment last month! Someone on here suggested I got a second job to up my income, which I did and it helps a lot. Perhaps try an agency that deals with more long term contracts rather than temp work. I believe Office Angels and the likes are good for admin stuff :)

Don't worry about your SoA looking lower than others, it's personal to you so just post it up. We're not here to judge just advise and encourage.

Hope that posting on here will help you feel more positive :)xxx
