Hi
I currently have a joint mortgage with the Halifax bank, this mortgage is with my ex partner, She has moved out and i want to transfer the mortgage into my sole name do i need to have a deposit or equity in the house to do this?
Also there is a default of £320 i have on my credit file for an old current account with Sandanter would this have a bearing on me getting a mortgage?

You need to request your ex to be taken off the mortgage with Halifax. However they will only agree if you fit criteria to support the mortgage on your own.
