Like to keep one in my car, in case of a traffic accident ('camera does not lie' etc).

Used my last one when an elderly lady fell over and hurt her leg (ambulance called) courtesy of a dropped flagstone. Placed a fifty-pence coin to show the height of the 'drop' (which was above the stated legal limit) and took a few photos. Gave her the camera and told her to use the photographs as evidence if she decided to pursue a claim.
    If it's cheap, I'm cheerful!

Thanks - also read somewhere lots fo people reverting back to old fashioned film now too.

I agree - its great to keep a disposable in the glove box for emergencies.

Great for parties and weddings etc... I got a couple for a bbq we're having next week, safer than leaving a camera or phone on the table with drinks and kids or drunks around :rotfl:

Maybe, but primary school kids are not allowed to take mobile phones on school trips.

Most parents buy one or two of these single use cameras when their kids go on the residential holidays. Mobiles are banned.
