cleaning glasses

I live in a hard water area & my glasses (drinking ones) are always grubby looking due to limescale on them - anyone know any way I can get these looking crystal clear - don't have a dishwasher

    Rubbing them with a cloth and some vinegar will remove the film of limescale :)

    Solved in one, and you just beat me to it.

    Counteract alkali with acid. Perhaps if the OP doesn't fancy vinegar, she can try lemon juice, orange juice etc.
