we buy the value honey and are angry how greedy the stores have got but its not only tesco sainsburys, morrisons have also upped the price to 99p from 67p bit of a jump i think. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

I believe there is a problem with honey bees at the moment so there may be a shortage?
However the price mechanism is interesting- 67p, then 3 for 2 (probably 99p, so 1.98 for 3 or 66p each) then 99p - typical stealth price rise.
I have just started a price book in an old homework diary so I can find out the typical or best price for stuff I buy (terrible memory) so I won't be taken in by false offers. Suggest everyone else with terrible memory for prices do likewise. Forewarned is forearmed after all.0 -
How can they justify their increases? Well people still buy regardless that's how. Unfortunately the public has zero willpower when it comes to food and will always give in to their stomachs. Yes they will moan about prices but very few will take the initiative to seek out cheaper alternatives.
Supermarkets don't give a f*ck about their customers so we should not show them any loyalty(especially through laziness)0 -

I noticed this one to . tescos are doing a LOT of this.. I just refuse to buy thing until they come down to a reasonable level. It seems the value stuff is often raised by only a few pence but that equates to a 2-70 per cent increase..some thigns even double in priceWhat Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
