FTSE 100 is at 5697.72 at close of play today.

So what is it going to be close of play Monday?

Its a guess. Have a go. I have.

Edit: thanks for the negative comments guys (or guy). Its a game. Let us see who the best market predictor is. Its not a serious life changing experience. Just fun.

    Ah ruggedtoast.

    Thanks for your input. Lovely.

    So what do you think?

Obviously you check out the Financial Times so you must be an expert novice at least.

Or are you really poor at predictions.

If anyone on here had had any success predicting what the stock market was going to do, they wouldnt be on here.

    Absolutely.

And what it is is a guess on how the buyers & sellers of everything feel about everything, not just house prices.

People make money out of the markets. That is why there are markets.

What makes you think you cant do it?

All I ask is you put your MSE ID where you think.

Its a bit hard to be this precise. I think there is a good chance of it being up a bit.

Reasoning being we didnt really lose that much this week despite alot of negative news. In fact it would appear the old 'less worse' effect is in effect

Each low value on the EURO exchange rate to Dollar was higher then the last which would suggest a receding tide of doom but who really knows.

    Any news due this weekend?
