has anybody heard of ur.the star it,s place in barking essex i got the advert out of the daily mail it offers dvd,s with your childs face in it like sleeping beauty or snow white i sent off £20 with my childs photo and i have not heard anything since it, been about 4 weeks since i sent it off thanks

my mum got these for my 3 children a few years ago from the same paper.The quality wasnt too bad .....my mum thought they were hilarious but i was a bit disappointed.had no problems with waiting for delivery or moneyetc.General score out of ten = 6.Hope this helps.

It's a lovely idea in theory & I'm sure kids would love it but DARN THAT's CREEPY!!!

i have the same problem and i contacted them http://www.urstar.co.uk/urstar_form.htm and they have told me they have problems witrh their courier ( they were awaiting blank dvd's and as of last night had not posted ours out which meant we would not get ours for xmas. there is a phone number on their website you can ring you normally have to leave a message but they do ring you back, i hope you get yours in time for xmas

thanks for that they rang me this morning and told me the same thing so i,m not expecting to recieve it before xmas they also said there would be a full refund if you don,t get it before xmas

I got a couple of these a few Xmas' ago. I had a lot of trouble with the company not responding to 'phone calls (before internet), non delivery and then saying they'd sent the video's weeks ago.
The video's were rubbish, sooooooooooooooo dissapointing even the kids thought they were rubbish.
I can't believe the company are still trading!
