Cabin size luggage £9-99

I have just bought 3 of these cabin size trolley cases today at £9-99 a piece. Also they are bright red so will stand out!

I have been looking for cheap cabin baggage for ages and this looks a good deal BUT I fly with bmibaby and their dimensions are 55x40x20cm so am I right in thinking these will not fit into their cage at the airport??

    I suppose they won't fit OWT_FOR_OWT.

However I see Ebay have the following that might interest you:

I'm flying with Ryanair and bought cabin-size luggage from Wilkinsons for £9.99. Much lighter than my old case as well, and have a pocket at the front for newspaper/boarding pass etc!
It was saying "Out of Stock" on their website, but there were some in my local store.
    Normal people worry me.

Received the cabin luggage yesterday and in fact the measurements are:
    58cm high including wheels
    37cm wide
    20cm deep

Jet2 state the height including wheels and strap ought to be 55cm high - I guess they are unsuitable afterall for Jet2?

Thanks for the measurements (I assume they are for the red one from poundstretcher in OP's post?) I bought one today but I haven't measure it yet. It should be suitable for Ryanair as the only measurement whicj is too much is the height by 3cm, which I don't think is going to matter. If it did and they were really picky, then I would just take the wheels off.

    Ryanair maximum cabin bag size 55cm x 40cm x 20cm

I don't suppose you weighed it did you m33r4?
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

If Ryanair accepts 55cm height, how can you expect this 58cm high case to fit into the rack (I presume you have to pop the case into this cage for measurements)?

I have looked into removing the wheels and it would mean breaking the rivets off and that would leave a big hole where the wheels are positioned.

Unfortunately I haven't as the home scales broke a while ago and were binned. I would say the case weighs about 2kg max if not less.

I have never had to put my hand luggage into anything or seen anyone doing that on the flights I have been on. I bought it because of the measurements they posted and I just hope that 3cm doesn't matter as it is so small, whatever you put it in to check if they do I will just push it down a bit. The worst case sceneraio is that the wheels are taken off and 2 holes left for the flight:(

My handluggage is a fair bit bigger than the RYANAIR measurements, (both depth and height), but it fits easily into the Ryanair measuring cage thing. I wouldn't worry about it.
