North East informal wedding venue suggestions needed

Hi all,
We're really keen to avoid a formal hotel wedding and I'm struggling to find venues.
We would like to get married in Ormesby, Middlesbrough so need a reception venue within 30-40 minutes.
I really like the look of Danby Castle but that's the only venue I've found to look round. We're thinking barn/pub/village hall/farm. Somewhere picturesque but flexible to let us do our own thing.
If anyone has any suggestions in Teesside, Cleveland, North Yorkshire it'd be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, we really liked Ormesby Hall but unfortunately it only fits 45 people or is 7k for a marquee!
I'm from Hartlepool and I hadn't even thought about the Borough Hall, good idea!
