ok so we are getting married on the 5th of nov this year bonfire night, we are having 70 guests and have managed to book my old locals function room which is free!!!! its a huge room and the manager has said i can bring in hot plates slow cookers to keep things warm in which has been done there before.
What could i make a couple of days before or a week before and freeze then let it thaw the day before and put on keep warm the morning of the wedding to heat it up and its ready for when we arrive.
what woud you expect to eat on a bonfire night wedding all i keep thinking is chilli and hot dogs lol

yeah those are good you could also do jacket potatoes and beef stew with rolls xI am not bossy I just have better ideas:p0

You could do a big batch of soup to serve in cups - pumpkin will be nice as it will just be past halloween.
Jacket potatoes might be tricky to do on a large scale.
How about making a sauasage casserole with mash - both can be frozen easily.0 -
Got to do some toffee apples!!

Alternatively, you could do something different and think back to the origins. The failed gunpowder plot occured in 1605, so you could serve a 17th century style banquet.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Hello dom, I'm also getting married on Bonfire Night this year! We're having winter-vegetable soup, followed by sausage and mash. We're also having black peas on arrival - these are a local Bonfire Night tradition in certain parts of Greater Manchester. They're a bit like mushy peas and are served with salt and vinegar. I'm not actually that sure that our guests will like them but we like them and it wouldn't be Bonfire Night without black peas!0

in scotland i would add stovies to the menu which is easily served in cups or on a paper plate, we would also have mince in a roll. Trouble is each scottish mammy has her own stovies recipe so you would need to try and google for the best one to your taste.0
