To be fair, I have been with HSBC for just over 5 years now and they have never tried to cross-sell me anything...A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

We've just accepted HSBC's offer (lifetime tracker). There was no attempt at all to cross sell. They were very helpful to be honest. The only gripe I have was the amount of checking required to prove our identity which seemed a bit over the top for a re-mortgage.0

To bump this and give both HSBC and their conveyancing firm the due amount of credit, this is due to complete on the 29th - so they have basically turned this around in just over two weeks, which is very impressive IMO.0

Just received a call from HSBC, they are going to honour the original rate - which is superb. Barring the initial rejection their handling of everything has been first class.0
