    On that basis, you should have options available to you.

    Sounds like you need to get in contact with a good adviser with experience in dealing with "ex-pat" scenarios, who should be able to place this for you.

    Can the ones in the know confirm this.....

    According to this website, I am entitled to a Residential mortgage as a Expat
