They have only brought the Brand (i.e. the name!) and 3 stores. The rest will be sold off/closed to pay the rest of the debt
I have a new claim to fame :D I spoke about the Olympics ticket fiasco on Martin's daybreak slot :money:

    Why is this on Grabbit?

In a way I think you are right as there's no sale yet and it says in the article:

"Habitat said that the unsold stores would continue trading as normal for about six months while the administrator from financial advisors Zolfo Cooper conducted talks"

However, I also thin OP may be right in that it is a "don't grabbit" for now if you were after any habitat stuff.

Really and truly though - does it really matter?? - I'm sure it'll soon drop off the board anyway like the original Focus posts did

    Agreed
When items become 'available' then yes but this is just a chat thread, nothing to 'grab' as such.
    Not rocket science is it?

The original posts didnt drop off the board they were removed by the "its not a grabbit gang"
  • Some people stress over funny things.

    "Shoot the OP I say!"
  • Looks like my £5 store card will be worthless then as I don't live near a Habitat to spend it and they don't let you use online.
    It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

Norwich store has just closed - they've been selling off stuff for a month at gradually reducing prices which actually made things affordable. Started at 30% off then went to 50-60-70% by the end when the store was very bare indeed! I imagine that's waht's likely to happen elsewhere.I wasn't in the market for any big stuff but there were definitely bargains to be had.
