    Just a tip for if you buy one of these. Before you put your cake mixture into the mould, grease the mould well with butter/marg then dust the inside of the mould really well with flour this will prevent the cake from sticking to the inside of the mould :). Remove the finished cake from the mould about 5 mins after you have finished baking it.

    I get my cake boxes from eBay. Can get in a range of diameters and depths.

    They sell these in The Works for £4.50. I got one last week.

    ETA I don't get the point of the insert this. You are better off just cutting the top off level with the mould and then scooping the middle out if you want to fill it.
