Is there are reason you cant tell them about your previous job? Last time we took a mortgage my OH had just changed jobs and they wanted 3 months pay slips (despite only asking for 2 and nearly royally screwing things up).

You should be OK if your job is permanant from day one.

If there is a probation period ( typically 3 months) most lenders will want you to get through that first though

  • Thanks for replies, the company i used to work for went into liquidation and no longer exists will the lender need to know this?

They will want to know previous employment details - not a reason for leaving them.

Some lenders will be ok with an application from you even if you are in probation.
