Hi
I took my Mum to startbucks recently and she had a gingerbread latte and loved it. The only place I could find the gingerbread syrup was on the net for around £7 a bottle plus £5P&P  I was thinking of getting her some to go with her other presents for xmas.
However, I found the following recipe and made some this afternoon. I don't suppose that its too low in calories  but hey- its xmas. I doubled up the quantities (and added extra ginger) and put it in a jar. I'm going to wrap the jar up nicely and give it to her at christmas.
I've just had some in a cup of coffee now (you need about 2 teaspoons of syrup per cup) and it was SO nice- you just have to keep stirring else it ends all up at the bottom.
