Morrisons 1% milk 4pints 50p

Saw a milk container in Tesco (I think it was) highlighting that it was less than 4% fat as if this this was a good feature. On that basis they should be giving away that nasty unhealthy channel island milk for free! We're now brainwashed to believe that we should pay the same for watery milk while processors get the cream. Why is the public so gullible?0

I couldn't notice the difference versus semi-skimmed when switching to 1% six months ago. However now, whenever I have to get semi-skimmed because there is no other choice, I find it a little too creamy for my taste.
I completely recommend 1% milk, my favourite! And for the record, I think red-top milk is pure filth and undrinkable.0 -
COuldn't tell the difference in taste here, agree skimmed milk is very watery
In my local Morrisons (Beverley) the 1% milk was not very prominent, had to look very hard for it0 -

Be careful, because it expands and breaks the packaging. In South Africa (and Australia etc, I expect) they mainly buy the plastic bags of milk, freeze them and then stick the bag to unfreeze in the special jugs. Easy peasy, but not very attractive on the breakfast table - but sometimes those packets break too.0 -
red top milk!!! its like making love in a canoe, its fcuking close to water0

Most supermarkets get their milk supplied by Arla. Makes no difference if you support a co-operative of dairy farmers or not as they are not selling directly to supermarkets.0

Actually Sainsbury's is supplied by Dairy Crest & Tesco is supplied by Robert Wiseman Dairies.0 -
Anyone know if it is still 50p in Morrisons or did that offer finish yesterday?0
