240% of my pay and 163% of joint pay. Hence we are overpaying and plan to clear our mortgage in 10 years. Our monthly mortgage is 23% of our take home payI am a Mortgage Adviser

325% of pay. Mind you, 2 years ago it was 360% so overpaying is definitely the way forward as I've not had a pay rise for 3 years!0

Ours is 255% of joint annual income, was 295% in 2008. On a monthly take-home basis it is 23% joint.Mortgage free by 40...

Ours is only 50% of our joint income, which is why we are plainning to say goodbye to it in a couple of years! In the past it has been about 400%.
SquirrelPaid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Ours is 605% at the moment, and the monthly payment is 15% of my take home pay, although it is interest-only. Which is why I am trying to overpay as much as I can.0

Ours is 12% at the moment, but then we've only got 3 more payments left, yay!
When we started the mortgage it was 366%, we've come a long way in 6 years.MFi3T2 #98 - Mortgage Free 15/12/20110 -
This is an interesting question.
Mine was 455% when I took it out, can't remember what %age of take home pay the repayments were.
Now it's 364% and the %age of take home is 23%, although that excludes overpayments!
So now everyone can work out my pay if they want!! Although it's a little distorted because that's what I pay myself - my company brings in more, that's just what I take out in dividends and salary.Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)
