SSP Sick Pay

Hi,

wonder if anyone knows if this is wrong...

I am on SSP at the moment (been off since Aug - 3mths full, 3mths half pay, now only SSP)

Problem is that work somehow got it wrong and over paid me even though I sent all sick lines in asap!

This month there was no SSP as they have deducted ALL they can to start repaying the over payment.

Is this allowed??? or Should they wait till I am back at work and then start deductions???

Worried,
E

I don't know whether this is allowed or not, I suspect it depends on whether you could reasonably have been expected to be aware that they had overpaid you and that you said nothing. Contact ACAS on 08457 474747 for advice.
