I just realised that I used a voucher in Tesco on Friday when was past the expiry date. I'm happy about that.

Dead chuffed I got mine on Friday, but then went back to Holyhead Tesco today to buy another and the shelf had been cleared out! Took a refil to the counter priced at £2.97 and gave it a go - went through and not only did I get it for free, but got an extra 3p off my shopping!

Just a warning though, my friend went in afterwards and they've now cottoned on and being very strict on the vouchers and making sure people only have one voucher per shop and also checking that other vouchers to make sure they have the name of the Clubcard owner on the other vouchers too!

The woman at the till was lovely, it was only when she asked for assistance because one of my vouchers wouldn't scan that I very ballsy woman from customer services came over and checked through all the vouchers I had before giving me the go ahead! I put on my halo and said I'd never even think of using more than one voucher for something at a time! She then apologised and said they'd had a lot of grief the last couple of days and have been told to check everything!

Be warned if using a voucher....my local HB (Longton) refuses to accept coupons and tells me it isn't company policy. I emailed head office to clarify this and was told that it's simply not true.

I have since heard one or two people say that their local HB's are funny about taking coupons, so stand your ground!
