Vistaprint invites

I was looking for an honest opinion on the quality of vistaprint invites. I am thinking about getting ours from them, but have also seen ready made ones for £1.50 each including envelopes on another site. Vistaprint would be cheaper but is the quality any good? I don't want the invites to look cheap but would like them to be cheap! If you have ordered from them and money was no object- would you buy them again or look somewhere else? Thanks!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Not wedding ones but we have ordered some party ones from there and I can honestly the say the quality is top notch. They look professionally printed and I am very impressed!

Is the card reasonably thick? Does anyone know if the card quality is the same for the postcards and the invites?

I ordered our wedding ones from vistaprint - went for the flat ones and had them in the linen finish. They're really lovely, don't feel cheap at all. For the evening ones we have a standard matt finish and they're nice too

I got my wedding invites from vistaprint and they are a lot better quality then i expected. They are card and i dont know why but i thought they would be paper, i got quite standard envelopes but they were free so i cant complain! i would definitely recommend them though. and for 100 invites 100 envelopes and 100 place cards for less than £40 i think its a pretty good deal!!

We have used them, and the quality is very good. Really solid card, nice envelopes, and putting the personalised stickers on the envelopes makes them look lovely.

We went with the "Luxurious Love" on a gloss print for the invites, with the return cards in matt (so people could write on them without having to find the perfect pen!) with regular envelopes, round stickers on the back, and printed name labels for the return envelopes. Very cheap and really look fancy! Plus a nice insert with all the extra details.

We have actually had a lot of people comment on how posh they look! It's a London wedding, and I think the formality of them works beautifully. We couldn't be happier, and they were very cheap really.

i bought postcards with maps and directions and details of accommodation etc, in a 'free' 100-postcards promotion.
£4 shipping, well that's fine, to be expected.

but also £4 for uploading each of my two own pictures! so my free postcards would have been £12. that's still fairly reasonable, so i went ahead anyway.
loads and loads of pages of "do you want a matching mousemat/mug/toilet seat?" which I impatiently dismissed, then finally the confirmation of order page. I clicked confirm and THEN, to my horror, realised that they'd changed the number of cards from 100 to 250 without telling me.

250 postcards were not on offer, so i had to pay full price, plus the extra shipping. I immediately emailed and then telephoned to cancel the order (and i mean immediately, within 5 minutes) only to be told "sorry, your order has been sent to the printer already, we can't stop it"

Paid nearly £40 for 150 more postcards than i wanted! so annoyed!

My point is that while the quality of the cards is great, really lovely clear printing, good colour matching, nice quality card, be very very very careful with their website and check EVERYTHING before you hit 'confirm'!
    Life on a shoestring!
