offers on joints of meat anywhere?

Is anyone aware of any offers on joints of meat at the supermarkets at the minute? I fancy doing roast this weekend, don't mind what animal!

I am going to take a look at the Pork Shoulder joints in Sainsburys tomorrow. According to their website it is half price at £2.49kg. I checked against the other supermarkets and Tesco's cheapest is £2.68kg. Don't usually buy shoulder but had some good joints from Morrisons before.

I think leg of pork is still £3 a killo in Asda.

beef is £3.99 a kilo at Lidl and 1.2 kilo gammon is £3.99

Any offers on beef anywhere? Have used my last out of the freezer and need to stock up, thanks in advance.

There are joints of half price beef on the butcher counter in Sainsburys- not sure how long they are on offer for. I believe it is something like a fiver a kilo now. We bought a couple of good sized pieces yesterday for under a tenner which I was more than happy with.
