Oh what a good idea kids can be embarrased to go to their gp or gum. This isn't something to joke about it can pose no symptoms and leave a woman infertile. No laughing matter really and cases have risen about 300% or something crazy like that, there needs to be more awareness and prevention too. :S0

I'm 23, and although I get a GP screening regularly (and have had the same partner forEVER!) I know plenty of friends who dont, who I will pass this onto, cheers!0 -
It's not free. The NHS will have paid Boots for this service & it's specifically targeted because this is the age group with spectacular levels of undiagnosed STDs.
~if you are over the age to benefit from the Boots contract, and do want FREE a test, either ask at your GP for details of your local GUM clinic or ring your local PALS for where you can go to get tested.:)"This is a forum - not a support group. We do not "owe" anyone unconditional acceptance of their opinions."0 -

Good idea but if they can hand out condoms and emergency pill at school/college can't they do these tests there too?I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
