Desparately need some laptop RAM!

I've just bought a Toshiba Equium A110 with 512MB PC2-4200 DDR SDRAM, which is enough (just about) for Windows XP but I've just installed Windows Vista and need alot more (another GB should do it).

1GB of PC2-4200 DDR-SDRAM (this is the RAM Crucial Memory's site (https://www.crucial.com) says my laptop takes)).

It's about £60 on eBay UK shipping from Hong Kong, does anyone know where I could get some cheaper? I don't mind if it's second-hand (the laptop is! - got it for £390 from a GumTree seller yesterday) as long as it's in perfect condition of course.

Thanks very much :D, I can just about type at the moment (the keys appear slightly after I press them, so yes Vista is as power-hungry as everyone says it is!)

Just a couple of quick thoughts

why not post a wanted AD on freecycle

    and

switch off all the fancy graphics stuff on Vista until you have enough memory
Looking to raise some money ;)
  • Hi,

Good idea, I've just switched to the basic theme and it runs alot faster

    Not as pretty though hehe

I'm a member of freecycle too so I'll do that too

I've asked on HotUKDeals aswell, and I'm about to ask on Haggle4Me (well, post a listing that is).

EDIT: Posted to FreeCycle Waltham Abbey (I live outside London and don't have a local one, but it's nearby), hopefully I'll get really lucky!
