Wii Component Cable £7 Delivered

If you are connecting your Wii to you shiney new widescreen TV you'll be wanting an AV Component cable to connect it so it runs in 480p mode (It'll look better). Make sure your TV has component-in sockets.

Genuine Nintendo cables are £20+ and out of stock everywhere. A few shops have 3rd party cables, usually £16+

Play-asia.com (Hong Kong) are selling a 3rd party cable for about £7 including airmail, and they just had stock today:

The cheap component cable from play-asia turned up today (about 3 working days). Quality looks fine, and the cable works well. Remember to set the Wii to 480p (HDTV) on the TV setup menu after plugging the cable in.

The difference in clarity is really noticeable in Wii Opera when surfing.

I don't have a Wii yet, I didn't realise it could only do 480p, bit naff really compared to Xbox 360.
