You don't have to prove that an CDL will improve your employability and you don't start repayments until a month after finishing the course.

I think it would be a suitable option for the OP as long as she understands the terms of it.

Oh, sorry, I meant 6 months *after the course*...

Looks like the terms have changed a little since I did mine, anyway...

They have.

You used to have to have an interview with someone (in my county it was me) to make sure you understood the terms of the loan and to check the reasonableness of your career plans. That was stopped more than 5 years ago.
