Virgin megastore in Hastings had handwritten signs outside saying "Nintendo Wii 6 game bundles available instore now". Don't know if that meant you could just get 6 games or if it meant the console plus 6 games but maybe useful to someone............

Called Play.com having received similar email. I was told that there are only 4000 Wiis, and there are 7000 outstanding orders!!. So, basically, the ppl told me that I WILL NOT get one b4 xmas and there is a chance I could get it b4 end Jan. Hope it helps for those who received the confirmation of order email.:T

If they didn't make it clear it was out-of-stock/backorder then that is very bad of them.

Third time phoning PLAY today.Been told by another person that if you placed your order by 15th september 3pm you have been allocated one.As i prebooked mine on the 16th i will be in the second batch,they are not sure when that will arrive.

I don't think that any of you that ordered today or yesterday will be getting your Wii's from play anytime soon. I still have an outstanding pre-order from the end of Sep that they haven't yet forfilled, despite me chasing them on a weekly basis!

i ordered mine on 15 sept from play.com, item was processing yesterday afternoon, received email this morning 6am saying it was posted and was delivered this morning 9am:j but have to work :mad:
