    It depends how busy ( or lazy ) they are. Sometimes only 1 drink sometimes 3

    What day are you going on Daztan? You'll get a lot more on a weekeday, I imagine you can go up and get yourself more drinks though.

    hi i would like to just remind everyone that you must travel on the time and date that you have booked for as these tickets become invalid if you miss your train and therefore you have to buy a brand new 'OPEN' ticket which are very very expensive.
    In reply to earlier comments the staff have been given strict instructions as to what drinks and food are given out. Some trains are very hard to predict how busy they are going to be for various reasons so at times they are sat down doing nothing, then other times 2 staff are trying to serve 100 1st class passengers.

    On a weekend the offer is savoury croissants(am) or a sandwich pack(pm) and hot and cold drinks ( no alcohol)

    During the weekdays there are various offers including alcohol after noon. Yes you are limited to how much you can have because after all they have to try and serve everybody.
