I can recommend this Newtownards firm, who professionally spray paints fitted kitchens etc

As regards fitted bedroom furniture? You need give them a ring

My mum does it herself, she sands the funiture down then repaints. If you're willing to give it a go.

Is it real mahogany or just a laminate? If it is the real thing it will have some actual value which would be destroyed as soon as you paint it....

    Hi

I recently repainted fitted wardrobes - B&W and Ronseal do a melamine paint and I bought one tin which covered 4 full size wardrobe doors and 12 smaller ones

The tin cost about £15 and they came up brilliant - I know the Ronseal one comes in cream (check online) and you can get in a spray can. Was quite easier to do than I thought (and an awful lot cheaper than buying new ones)

The paint covers wood as well as melamine, etc

Hope this helps!- its worth a try!
  • Thanks all for that, the paint job sounds good, will see what the wife says.
