Kindle £20 discount - Can't get it!

I have just phoned the Tesco Direct line to purchase a 3G Kindle with £20 off and they have said they're all out of stock and they 'don't know' when more will be coming in. The MSE site says they're due to get 1,500 more tomorrow (Thurs) but the message from Tesco suggests otherwise. Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm going to try and call again tomorrow, but I don't want to waste all day trying to ring them if the deal is no longer available! Also, it's a bit wrong that the deal is apparently valid until 11.59pm tomorrow when tonight at 8pm they have already run out???!!

As far as I understand from the MSE email today is that, yes, they had already run out but were due to get another 1500 thursday.....I phoned at about 8pm tonight and the recorded msg said they had sold out, no idea when the next stock was in. I still went on to an operator who told me the exact same thing!

I'll be ringing as soon as its Thursday lol

its thursday but that message saying they are sold out is still being played when you call them!

I had no luck when I phoned at 8 this morning, they mention MSE in the message but say they have runout of stock.

Just seen updated note on the deals page:-

UPDATE 23 June: Important notes

It's being restocked on Friday. Tesco originally had 800 3G Kindles in stock; these sold out but 1,500 more will be available from Friday (they should have been re-stocked by Thursday).

The code's been extended until Friday. As Tesco were not able to re-stock in time it's extended the code until 11.59pm Friday 24 June and you'll need to collect it at your nearest Tesco. You can only buy over the phone but see details of the Kindle at Tesco Direct*.

Just spoken to Tesco Direct.

Officially OOS, but supposedly due in today. Will be on website, and code should work on there, as according to him they just input to website themselves while you on phone.

Kindle page seems to gave disappeared from Tesco.com thou.....
