so gutted tescos clubcard vouchers still not arrived

hi... i just got to leave off some steam here......

i have been saving up my points all year.... so i could use them in mfi....i was going to get a fridge freezer ( didnt have enough for a kitchen )

and use the rest in tescos for sweets etc for the kids.....

at the begining of december..i hadnt recieved them.. so phoned.... and they cancelled them and re-issued me with new ones......

the new ones still havent arrived.... so i phoned cs....

and they said they were sent out on the 7th december.... and all they can do is sent me a money order.... for the amount..... which means i dont get the deal value.. to get my fridge freezer in the new year.... which i wanted before christmas.....

they are blaming the royal mail...... but to have 2 lots go missing......

i am trying to forward think and plan...... and its all gone pear shaped.......

at the end of the day i have been loyal most of the year... trying to build up my points.....i had £144. ok that might be a lot compared to other peeps since feb..... but it would have ment me having stuff that i could not afford otherwise.......

rant over....... thanks for listening......nothing i can do ...but wait to see if they do turn up.. like she said posted on the 7th ..so whats the odds on them turning up

Exactly the same thing happened to me with the September mailing. I waited and waited and by the end of October, I rang Tesco to see where they were (as I was expecting a lot and thought they may have been stolen!). They said that they had been posted weeks ago and that as they hadn't been delivered (and also not used by anyone) they would send me the value of the missing vouchers in with the December statement, which they did. I would ring Tesco back and ask if they could do the same for you, which would mean you won't get them until February, but at least you won't lose out on the 4x deal value!

thanks dijor...........they did say they could add them to the feb mailing.......
as you say at least i will not lose on the x4 value

but i will be cutting it fine ...again if they dont turn up in february... as m.f.i will be opting out of the deal scheme... in march/april......

but it did seem strange 2 lots lost in the mail......

but hayho.........it one hiccup.......and not the end of the world......

i have had time now to come to terms with it.... and just get on... and not to worry about it now....

The fact that 2 lots have gone astray to the same address is enough to make a formal complaint to the Royal mail. These losses en route are completely unacceptable, yet we blame the companies whose things get lost rather than tackle the real culprit, Royal mail.

I sell on ebay and two Christmas's ago I had lots of items go walkies, even when I switched to recorded delivery they still failed to arrive. A formal complaint resulted in not only my money back, which is of course expected, but a further payment in compensation. Royal mail admitted in that instance to an 'incident' within a sorting office that they were dealing with.

My November clubcard mailing never reached me so I phoned and they sent them out again - received yesterday.

thanks soolin...... totally agree royal mail is to blame..... but if there is no proof of postage etc.....( or maybe tescos have some sort of computer generated thing )

i know somewhere along the line i will get my points etc.... even if it is in february..... but its the inconvienence... that its caused.......

i think i will write a letter to the royal mail anyway......even if its to highlight the situation.....

Tescos are normally very reliable with clubcard vouchers, etc., so I am fairly sure you will get them soon, but what a pain it's been for you. I don't mean to sound really obvious but have they got your name and address details correct? I waited 2 months for WHSmith to confirm that my order HAD arrived in store, because they had my name wrong, even though I'd entered the info correctly myself on their website ...
