You're welcome C1aire. Forgot to add, if you have any leftovers of moisturising mask, you can put on any other dry bits....elbows, knees....but don't walk about or your carpet might get covered!0

I'm also intending next year to make a toner for my skin out of dandilion leaves. I saw that one in Jekka McVikka's Herb book the other day. Maybe I won't be trying to frantically get rid of them from my garden next year... if you can't beat them, put them to good use eh?April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500

Sounds interesting, but keeping fingers crossed that we don't have supplies! :rotfl:
Years ago OH was getting strange looks picking dandelions in the field along from us.............made great wine, but think it was made from the flower heads rather than the leaves. Waste not and all that.
Here's some recipes.

You can always have a go at making both, but just make sure you drink the right one!0 -
Hi i have been making my own face masks (and body bits too!) for years taught by my grandmother (b.1901) i use mashed tomaotes etc, but depending on what my skin needs..winter i add a little almon oil and geranium oil to a mix of fullers earth and fine oatmeal, in summer when i tend to break into greasy spots i mix in the juice of a lemon...astringent and breaks oils patches..hope this helps someone....for teenagers with greasy skin i have used only fullers earth and lemon juice (shop bought PLJ - yes they still make it) as its cheaper than buying and jucing lemonsWhat goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0
