Help getting rid of "manageable" debt

Thanks RAS for your advice. It's very helpful. I'm going to look at getting a balance transfer card for the worst offender card(s). Then start paying off the cards with the worst APRs. If I can't get a balance transfer cards after 2 attempts I'll just start paying off the cards and reduce all my limits to the lowest ones possible.
Thanks again - Gareth0 -
Great Advice above, allways pay off highest cards first.
but I am a bit stumped as to how you got a student loan if you left w/o qualifications? Did you drop out?
In any case you might want to give us an SOA, as you may be overpaying on things like phones, braodband utilitites etc and we can help you trim the fat and pay things off even faster.0 -
I managed to get a 0% Barclaycard yesterday for 20 months which will allow me to transfer at least 2 of the worst cards. I did try for another card with someone else but that was declined, so think I'll leave it at that for now.
I have hardly any monthly payments (live at home with parents, company phone, etc.) but I'm currently going through what does go out of my account. This is making me more aware of what I'm spending my money on (mainly petrol!). I'll do an SOA once I've sorted out all the obvious ones.0
