    It may be ok my old TFT was 30ms and was fine with games and movies.

    You need to look at more than just the basic response time these days.

    An 8ms panel might look better than a 16ms panel but unfortunately it's not so simple.

    please beware when buying tft monitors !

    I was going to buy that model,but looked around the net and found that tft monitors are graded by the amount of dead pixels.

    there is no standared for this, so one manufacturer may have a reject rate of 1% dead pixels another could be 10%

    The dabs website states: Therefore please note that we can only take back displays as faulty for refund/repair if the number of stuck pixels exceeds the manufacturer's guidelines.The number required for the monitor to be classed as faulty does vary depending on the manufacturer in question, so we strongly advise customers to research their chosen model with the relevant manufacturer prior placing their order via dabs.com.
