i didnt feel releived, i didnt feel guilty............i felt nothing. a sort of numbness.
bankruptcy is not "the easy way out" by any means, people may have that perception of it but it most definatly is not.
it wasnt something i took/take lightly, i had no other choice......you have no other choice. thats why we're here;):)0 -
Yes thank you, you're right. I would much rather be able to sort myself out (or in hindsight never have got in this position in the first place) but as I can't I have to go down this road.
I'll come back on tomorrow and post my experience.
Thanks again.0 -

Good morning. I'm just on my way to the court now, I feel sick and quite scared to be honest. I'm even worrying about what I'm wearing... should I be wearing jeans, does this give the wrong impression?
I'm more worried now than I was with the debt issue, I want this to be over0 -
it wont make a difference what you're wearing to be honest. you aren't there to be judged on anything. i went smart casual but i needn't have bothered.
it will be over soon and you will wonder what all the fuss was about:money:0 -
Well it's done, I'm now officially br. Don't know how I feel about it to be honest, can't say I feel relieved but I do feel strangely better... I'm just glad that bit's over with. Nnow just the OR to worry about.0

Hi everyone, welcome to the July 2011
Bankruptcy Club.
This club is for everyone who has gone through the process of Bankruptcy during July 2011. So please feel free to join and post.
Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.
Remember this is your board so keep posting.
Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.
Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.
Please leave a post when you have been declared BR, and I will update the list.
*PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE TOO MUCH INFO, THE IS ARE KNOWN TO FREQUENT THIS SITE AND TOO MUCH INFO MAY MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO IDENTIFY INDIVIDUAL CASES, SO KEEP INFO TO A MINIMUM, ie USERNAME AND DATE ONLY.":pB&SC No. 298

hi there, im possibly going to be in this club or next month, depend how long it takes for my application for funding takes, who has £700 spare when you are in this position anyway!
my greatest worry is how much are they going to expect me to pay out per month? I work full time at the moment but will be dropping my hours in september when my LO starts school??
im paying a large legal bill at the mo but this will get included in the br...do they have a change of circumstances thing so if my income drops, the amount I pay will be reassessed?
cheers for listening!0
