    Xmas Saver!
After nipping out to get these, I had to put a couple in the fridge earlier, so having a BLT with a nice cold Carling, for just 16.6p a drink!

Now can't find the exact rate, but I believe that current alcohol duty stands at about 45p per pint. Now whilst my drink is less than 1 pint (only 440ml), this means duty on my drink is approx 35p. So by me paying 17p (lets round it up) Tesco are paying 18p to the Government for me to enjoy a nice cold one!!!

Now how can I sort Tesco out to do the same on the rest of the Tax I pay.......

    Bottoms Up!

And a Big thanks to Casp, whose first post wasn't amazing from a content point of view, turned into something really rather fantastic!

Darn I missed this, have been in 3 tesco's today, but didnt read the thread as I assumed it was the ''old'' beer thread.

SA in tesco's did mention something about beer going for £4 earlier but i assumed again it was the last glitch from a few weeks ago.

We went in search of beer earlier about 2pm, but the Tesco in Wath had sold out completely, tried the one at Stairfoot and and scanned at normal price and me being too shy to say no thanks ended up paying the £16!

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

It may only be the Daily Mail aka fire tinder aka budgie cage liner aka trash but this thread has gone viral:

Well done casp  I've honestly never gotten 2 kids up and out so quick in my life. I was in such a rush to grab the beer (which I hasten to add I don't even drink bar the odd shandy) I had to double check I'd brought the kids home. It may also have crossed my mind to remove said kids from trolley to make space for more beer :o
