It is still quite good. I find you can normally watch 2-3 films in a week, given postal times, and how quickly you watch.
That means over the 4 months you could get between 34-51 films.
That could come in at 20p a rental.
Edit: Sorry misread as the fact its 1 rental at a time. As the posted below mentions, at home it is unlimited0 -
The 1 DVD per month is from a store but you can rent more through the postal service though you can only have 1 at home at any time.0
