Well I suppose he never promised me a code, I just read the rumor on this forum.

But I friended him and sent a message at 9.57pm on the 22nd and he accepted me as a friend by 11pm but did not reply to my message at all.

I may just defriend him and give it up as an odd thing. Hmm.

I was interested in this card but went the other way and just bought my card from ebay for £1.49! I bought it the early hours of last night and just got the code this afternoon.

Seems to be from some sort of Carphone Warehouse/Best Buy offer. As when I entered the code I was asked which phone I had bought.

It was my intention to activate this one after I had finished with my Daily Mail promo card. But in the email I received from the seller it says that the code needs to be used by the 31st of July so I just went ahead with it and will gift the other card. Quite happy as I was going to pay £29.95 using one of those online coupon codes that would have dropped it from the original £69.95.

I received my free tastecard this morning in the post - so it does work... but it wasnt for 12 months... was for less than a month!!!!!!

Think i will be writing a stern e-mail to this fella!!

bit if a mystery, as the picture of the code this guy sent me, did show that it was for 12 months, so i dont think this guy is fibbing, maybe its the actual company thats wrong? iykwim. xx


i got an attached letter with the card, so might try contact them that way... i have sent the guy an e-mail on facebook, just awaiting a reply. x

Just checked and mine is 12 months too.

Let me know how you get on. I'm away for the weekend, so won't be anywhere near the forums, but I'll check in when I get home Sunday night.
