How to get my first mortgage

I recently went to a mortgage broker to enquire about finally getting on the property ladder, unfortunately 3 things got in my way before I even had a credit check. I work on the cruise ships (cunards Queen Elizabeth) and 1.get paid in dollars, 2. dont pay tax 3. am out of the country for more than sixty days of the year. All unfortunately affect my ability to obtain a mortgage. I am possibly even only looking for a shared ownership mortgage, so am not really looking for a ridiculous amount, and also have a %25 deposit on my required property. Please give any advice that may help my getting my first home.

I cannot help other than to say be wary of shared ownership.0

You have to be out of the country more than 60 days not to be taxed on worldwide income.
Suggest you get advice.0
