The best place for a commercial loan is from your company account holding bank.
They will know you and be best placed to work with you or give you advise on a good place to go.
Be very cautious when taking out credit in a company name as you will not recieve the same protection rights under the consumer credit act as you do as a normal person.
Typically banks are the main source of business funding. I have heard of no-one that I would like to recommend outside banks.
Really to suggest a bank that would best suit you I would need some further information.
Some proactive lenders at the moment in the commercial world are Royal Bank of Scotland. Barclays seem to have good spells and bad spells. My experience with HSBC is they talk the talk but when it comes to putting money on the table they are the bank that likes to say NO. I have only really any experience with the above three but there are hundreds more out there.
