'Fit for Purpose and Reasonable Length'

I recetly bought a mobile phone pouch with a belt clip.
Was only £10, so not a major item.

After just 2 months of normal use the plastic belt clip has broken.

Am just wondering if, in accordance with the Consumer Rights standards of being 'Fit for Purpose and Reasonable Length of Time' that I can claim a replacement?

I can see both sides.
It's plastic, under tension, that is opened and closed several times each day - plastic is relatively fragile.
But then, it was specifically designed for this purpose, so surely 2 months isn't long enough before it breaks?

No big deal. Was only £10.

But still interested to know how to apply my rights :-)

Cheers,
Don
