  • Was checking my Electricity account online with BG, had £94 in credit, was just messing around and discovered that by taking the money as a refund they knocked my monthly payments down by £10 / month and still covered the winter months. Thanks BG for acting as a savings account :)
I have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!

It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Another £4 from the shy foresty people :D, plus a £2 voucher from Gfk that I used at hmv towards something I totally would have bought anyway (yes, I really did need another volume of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection ;)). Taking my total to £186.67.

I am not going to make my target this month unless an unexpected cheque arrives through the post (and I am not expecting any!), or there is a sudden flurry of Amazon sales. I may list some things on fleabay this weekend. I need a major dose of motivation!!
