Was checking my Electricity account online with BG, had £94 in credit, was just messing around and discovered that by taking the money as a refund they knocked my monthly payments down by £10 / month and still covered the winter months. Thanks BG for acting as a savings accountI have enough money for the rest of my life... as long as I never have to pay for anything again!

Another £4 from the shy foresty people
, plus a £2 voucher from Gfk that I used at hmv towards something I totally would have bought anyway (yes, I really did need another volume of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection
). Taking my total to £186.67.
I am not going to make my target this month unless an unexpected cheque arrives through the post (and I am not expecting any!), or there is a sudden flurry of Amazon sales.
