My OH is the same Aesop. Moans about how much stuff there is to Ebay (love how 'Ebaying' has become a verb!
) but then does very little to actually help do anything about it!!
Bloody men!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Further £2.60 from eBay and £8.75 from shopping savings. Yay whoopsies!

Did 4 hours extra at work today so that's another £24. Should have had more ebay payments but the person who bid on my items just sent me a message: "by the way, I'm going on holiday for two weeks as of tomorrow so I'll pay you when I get back I guess"
I do wish people would read the bit in the description that says "contact seller before bidding if you have any issues/questions"
Paying off the overdraft:
End of April= -£500
Today= -£4550 -
I have got off to a late start, saved £3 yesterday and today by taking dinner to work instead of buying it. So £6/£310.
Need to get a shake on.
I did 2 hours overtime today at £18 an hour, so £36 before tax, so does anyone know how much that will be towards the challange once deductions come out?
I wont get paid it until the end of next month so can I count it?
Hoping someone can let me know, thanx x.:rotfl:DFW Nerd 1394.

That is awful, I hate it when buyers mess people around like that. I would be very tempted to send a second chance offer to the next bidder (or relist if there was only one bid) - simply because I find that really rude. If they have time to email you tonight then they have time to pay you tonight, and if they don't have the money to pay straight away then they shouldn't be bidding when they know they won't be around for so long.
You would be well within your rights to do that as you can open an unpaid item dispute after 7 days and are free to cancel the transaction and relist if they don't respond - which they clearly won't!0 -

Well I've sent them a message back saying pretty much the same thing. I did state that any issues needed to be raised BEFORE bidding at least three times in the description. I've also told them that the items had 6 other watchers so if I don't receive payment within the 7 days then it will go to second chance offers. I'm moving back home at the minute and I don't really want to be carting the books with me on the train...they're all heavy text/lab books. The point of putting them on a 3 day auction was to get shot of them quickly!Paying off the overdraft:

Hello All,
I've been MIA for a while and have inevitably fallen off the various wagons whilst at it. :undecided But I'm back, and need to really get stuck into things again.
So, I know I'm a few days late ... but can I still join in for July please Aesop ? I'd like to start a little easy at just £5 (so £155) this month.
Glad to see everyone's moving forward with their plans
