Hi
I have rather a lot of fresh pineapple chunks and satsuma segments left over from a party.
Can I freeze them or if not has anyone got any recipe suggestions.....other than fruit salad or trifle?

What about the satsumas?
Also when you defrost the pineapple...does it go all mushy/When life throws you lemons...put them in a gin and tonic !!0 -
Not sure about the satsumas, but i guess you can freeze those too, i would. The pinapple normally comes out fine, but it is a harder fruit. Raspberries freeze well, but do go a bit mushy and strawberries go very mushy, but it depends what you are wanting to use them for afterwards.
Im planning on mixing the pineapple ive frozen (when defrosted) with whipped cream and adding to a pavlova!!!!0 -

Have you got a dehydrator or could you 'dry' them in your oven at a temp of around 100C?TL0
