It may not apply to your venue but may be worth asking if you are having evening entertainment if they have a sound limiter. I had never heard of one before but in the week before our wedding our DJ went to visit the venue and found out it had one of these which they had failed to inform me of, the DJ usually refuses to do these venues as they can damage his equipment if it cuts everything off and it seems a lot of people have this policy, luckily he was a really helpful person and went ahead anyway but it could have been bad for us if he refused[STRIKE]Getting married to[/STRIKE] Married my soul mate on

we assked whether there was more than one wedding on that day?
about diasbled acess
parking arrangements
whether we had use their suppliers
policies on children
about whether we were allowed confetti
whether we were allowed candles
what happens if it rains
set up arrangements
whether flowers were included
whether if we booked now whether we could fix the prices at this years prices which we have
what type of ceremonies they are licensed for?
who files the paperwork?
there are a hundred and one questions you could ask it largely depends on you garanteed you will think of more after you leave! most importantly be up frount wabout your budget but sate less than your actual budget to allow for unseen costs!:kisses3: Married 29th September 2012

Is there a minimum cost for food/drink? (Our venue has a minimum of £2,500 for food and drink, but we'll easily do that!)
Are they able to cater for any dietary requirements (eg food allergies - my MOH is anaphylactically (sp?) allergic to strawberries so we need the kitchen to be free of them so we can relax properly)? We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Have an idea of your MAX budget and don't get sucked into adding extras like decorative packages on without checking out whether you want / need / can do it cheaper.... eg do the chairs really need chair covers? Do you really want table centres or would their standard supply of silver candelabra with ivory candles look just as good?0
