Sample letters for credit cards

Good afternoon,
Does anyone have a sample letter I could use.
That I can send to my credit card companies to ask them to reduce or ideally freeze the interest for something like 6 months. At the moment i'm just paying the minimum payment which is a bit of a struggle but doable but its only reducing each cards balance by about 10 or 20 pound per month due to the rest of the payment going on interest.
I've read that people have managed to do this in the past but don't know where to start.
If I could do this for 6 months it would put a major dent in them.
I just turn into a bag of nerves on the phone and am not very good dealing on the phone would prefer to write but am not very good at writing letters.
I don't really think i need a DMP as i'm more or less in control of it all but its very disheartening seeing all the money going out and the balance not reducing.

Have a look on http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/. They have a letters section, just select the country you are in and look for the sample letters section0
